The team at Wacaco—known for their handheld i.e. portable espresso and coffee makers recently took on the challenge of trying Coffee Cycle’s roasted coffee beans with their various devices. They reached out because some of our awesome customers were saying nice things about our coffee. Thanks to you, unknown coffee friend! Guatemala Chimaltenango was sourced through Red Fox Coffee Merchants based in Berkley, CA, Oaxaca (Mexico), and Lima (Peru).
Tasting Notes: Baked Apple and Orange Peel, with lesser notes of hibiscus, raspberry, pomegranate, and wildflower honey.
Altitude: 1800-2000
Variety: Bourbon, Caturra, Typica
Process: Washed
Fermentation: 8-12 hours, dry
Drying: 6 days on cement patios

COFFEE CYCLE + REI = THE COFFEE CYCLE OUTPOST
Coffee Cycle will be at REI San Diego on the FIRST WEEKEND (Saturday and Sunday) of each month offering the Coffee Cycle experience on the other side of the 805. We’ll be learning as we go, but if you’re looking for a great cup of coffee AND some outdoor gear, come visit the outpost!
